Who I Am
I am an animal physiologist in the School of Biological Sciences at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
I have a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Environmental Biology from The University of Adelaide and a PhD in Conservation Physiology from The University of Queensland.
My current research focuses on the metabolic and behavioural responses of ectotherms to climate warming. I predominantly use the fruit fly, Drosophila, in laboratory-based experiments to study the capacity of ectotherms to respond to climate warming through physiological acclimation and evolutionary adaptation.
